George Terrell Methvin

I am 55 years old and have been married for 35 years. We have three children and six grandchildren. I spent the first 54 years of my life in Shreveport, Louisiana, before my wife and I moved to Northwest Arkansas in 2023. Since moving, I've been working with Ozark Mountain Roofing as an inspector and OSHA safety supervisor, which has been a rewarding experience due to the integrity of this family-run business. Alongside, I work as an independent insurance adjuster, collaborating with multiple AI firms on commercial, industrial, and agricultural projects.

My qualifications include:

·       OSHA 30 certification –

·       FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot certification

·        Thermal Imaging Level 1 certification

·       Home Inspection certification

·       Independent Insurance Adjuster license

·       I have read over 400 books ranging from Neuroscience, AI development, engineering, chemistry to religions and philosophies of the world. I believe in lifelong learning, and I continually expand my education in diverse areas. Thus, giving me the ability to communicate with people from all over the world with a wide range of experiences.

Building Science, I am a fan of Matt Risinger, who runs an excellent educational platform on Building Science. Through Matt's work, I've learned from some of the best builders worldwide, embracing his philosophy of "building to last 100+ years, building healthy buildings with minimal energy demands."

My goal is to assist builders in achieving their objectives of constructing high-performance buildings designed to endure for generations.

I understand that nothing great is accomplished without a master plan. My role as an inspector and supervisor is to ensure that this plan is executed safely, on time, and efficiently.

This requires excellent communication, which I facilitate by providing accurate timely data. I aim to be the first and the last person on site, bringing my own mobile office. I observe and communicate with key personnel to keep the project moving forward, ensuring materials and workers are present and safe from known hazards.

Utilizing enterprise-level thermal drones enhances job site oversight by providing detailed information for quick, informed decisions. This technology allows me to easily navigate and document the entire job site, facilitating rapid communication with essential team members.

3D Modeling involves collecting hundreds or thousands of geotagged, high-resolution photos to create a 3D collage that builders can use as an 'As-Built' model of the job site. The utility of having a measurable 3D model cannot be overstated; it's like having a physical scaled model traditionally built on a table but done digitally, daily, if necessary, to show progress and completion. While few companies leverage this due to complexity, I am dedicated to mastering and implementing this process accurately and swiftly. Starting from the bidding phase, I can create a 3D model of the site, providing builders with a measurable landscape view, thus enhancing precision in planning and execution. changes are recorded and photo reports created to validate progress and completion.

I look forward to assisting high integrity dedicated builders.

I will be there till the job is done.
